lyrics
I embrace your storm through the caverns of your soul
a deep and buried universe
A long road have I wandered, the burden of the ages in my bones
I am coming home
I embrace your storm shed your darkened disguise,
Your faceless gaze
Bear this silent life, cast upon me as I stand before your halls
To walk alone
This circle of light, search of lost traces
beyond is only night, secret dark places
Have I gone too far, lost the path behind me?
Have I gone too far?
Cords and glass, in a thousand rooms
the electric mass, a living tomb
Sentient machines, a bleeding mountain heart
Madness of my dreams, worlds torn apart
beyond these howling winds, these rusted plains
from the formless voids, invisible chains
Sentient machines, a bleeding mountain heart
Madness of my dreams
Is there no return, am I too late?
to make it back, through the shards of a black gate?
I embrace your storm through the caverns of your soul
a deep and buried universe
A long road have I wandered, the burden of the ages in my bones
I am coming home
to this desolate place
Illuminated weaver
Dreams in restless sleep
Cryonic ancient seal
Sentient machines
Mountain of Bahb-Elon, Lord of scars
Madness of my dreams, the darkest star
beyond these howling storms, these rusted plains
from the formless voids, invisible chains
Mountain of Bahb-Elon, Lord of scars
Madness of my dreams
Is there no return, am I too late?
to make it back, through the shards of a black gate?

These guys are, in my opinion, one of the greatest stoner/sludge band that have popped up in recent years. Sure, you have the "old gods" like Sleep, Electric Wizard, and Kyuss but Spaceslug brings something new to the table. They're fresh, and it seems like they've got no thought of stopping anytime soon.
